How do you do it? ReAlLy!
Ethan HATES doing his homework and it's getting worse all the time.
How can we get him to do it without a fight everytime it needs to be done?!
We think that kindergarten should not have as much hm wrk. They are only 6 and getting into the hang of things. I really don't blame the poor kid but it has to be done!
Anyone know what we can do to make it "fun" for him?
Please...We need help with this.

Landon is the same way with his preschool homework.. he has a packet (does kindergarten do packets?) We make him do two pages each night. Before he can play games or watch TV. Then after he is done we have a treat box in the pantry that is ONLY for after homework is done. It's still a struggle, but not nearly as bad.
I hear ya my dear! We struggle with Hunter boy as well. We started a token system at our house. He earns a token for getting his homework done and his reading. We don't let him play his DS or watch TV until it's done. Once the boys earn all the tokens, we will take them to Chuck E Cheeses. Hunter boy also looses a token if we have to fight him to do homework. Good luck! Know that you are not alone!!!
Thanks girls! but I'm affraid all that fun stuff doesn't work for my little one.
He's not allowed to watch T.V play his DS or play air hockey until it's done.
He would rather go without than do his homework.
At the start of the year we gave Chanler the option to either come straight home and do it or come in a little earlier at night to do it. He chose to come in a little earlier So at 7 every night he comes in and just knows... Maybe it is too much for him to go to school then come and do homework. Give him a break in between and see if that helps. It did for sure with Chanler!
